ABout Us
TWM Imports was established by its founder Thomas William (Bill) Minett in 1993 as an importer and wholesale distributor of German, Taiwanese and Chinese made power tools, woodworking and metal working equipment. The range and scope of the business has grown significantly over the years.
From its original premises in Kororoit Creek Road Williamstown occupying some 300m2, the business has steadily grown to its current location in Tottenham occupying approximately 15,000m2 including 10,000m2 under cover in 2 large warehouses and 5,000m2 of yard, parking and storage space.
TWM imports and distributes a range of industrial equipment at competitive pricing through national distribution channels. TWM Imports’ historical success can be attributed to continual product development and understanding consumer buying trends.
Today TWM supports more than 2,000 customers throughout Australia across a number of sectors including: Hardware, Home and Garden, Vehicle Parts & Accessories, Farm & Construction Equipment, Workshop Equipment, Materials Handling Equipment and Forestry Equipment. In September 2020 the business was sold and is currently under new ownership.
